I love this iron. No cord is wonderful. The iron will stand up like a normal iron which I am used to from a corded iron. If I want it to recharge the iron I set it in the base but it will sit like a normal iron off the base. I tried one other iron but it didn’t have auto shut off and I needed that feature…who doesn’t! Forgetfulness can happen no matter how hard we try.
