This will put a very good sharpening to any knife. Tried it on the bluntest knife I could find (Wouldn't cut a banana) brought it very much back to life. And would slice any soft tomatoes. Average household you need this sharpener.. Its brilliant... Will bring a scaryish sharpness. But you will feel the serrations on the blade. Buy one!
