ItamiHome

Handmade for the British Garden

Thirty years of
watching butterflies.
The last houses.

Peggy's hands won't let her build anymore. But what she learned — the slot width, the puddler, the untreated wood — is in every one of these houses.

Peggy Holt, 71

Wensleydale, North Yorkshire — deep in the Yorkshire Dales, ten minutes from Hawes. Her late husband Tom was a joiner. He taught her the teardrop form, and Peggy has never built another shape. In thirty-two years she has built more than 3,000 houses — every one with the same slot calibration, every one with the puddler at the base. Every package she packs herself, and she writes a personal note to every buyer.

Handmade for the British Garden

Handcrafted by
real makers.
Built for the garden.

Every piece sold on ItamiHome is made by hand, by a real person, informed by decades of watching what British wildlife actually needs.

Ray told me once: the bees need water, not blossoms. I made blossoms anyway — because both are true.

Handmade for the British Garden

Forty years of
watching birds.
One perfect bath.

Earl spent four decades observing exactly what birds need — and what most bird baths get catastrophically wrong. His final batch is here.

What customers say about us:

absolutely stunning quality!

The craftsmanship is unlike anything I've found online. Wish there was more in stock — grabbed the last one and couldn't be happier.

Unreal Quality

My little girl is absolutely in love with the bee flowers! It's so wonderful to see that nature still works the way it should. Definitely recommend these.

This is what shopping should feel like

It really looked better than i thought. You can tell immediately that a real person made this with real care. Already ordered one as a gift.

Janet O.

The packaging alone made me smile

Arrived faster than expected and came with a handwritten note. In a world of Amazon boxes and bubble wrap, this felt like receiving a gift from a friend. That personal touch is everything.

Best knife sharpening tool!

This will put a very good sharpening to any knife. Tried it on the bluntest knife I could find (Wouldn't cut a banana) brought it very much back to life. And would slice any soft tomatoes. Average household you need this sharpener.. Its brilliant... Will bring a scaryish sharpness. But you will feel the serrations on the blade. Buy one!

Unreal Results!

I don’t know what kind of NASA sorcery went into this thing, but it turned my garden hose into a dirt-blasting cannon. I cleaned my patio, car wheels, grill, AND second-story windows in under an hour. It’s way more satisfying than it should be.

Great build quality!

I've got to admit I'm impressed. The build quality is sturdy and solid, doesn't slip when in use and the results on the blades are sharp as using a steel. We're not talking standard knives here, we're talking paring knives, filleting knives, French cooks knife, to name a few. They've all been through it and come out of the 3 stage sharpener with neat edges that can shave the hairs off your arm with ease.

So Simple To Use!

My home has never looked cleaner, and I feel great knowing I'm using a cost-effective DIY solution.
